Born and raised in San Antonio, AJ studied at the University of Texas at San Antonio before building a career spanning nearly a decade in technical and niche talent acquisition across Energy, Construction, Engineering, and Rec2Rec. Earlier in his career, he led high-performing recruiting teams, growing key energy and utility accounts across Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
Today, AJ specializes in recruitment consulting, with a particular strength in building out recruiting teams from the ground up, developing employees to their next level and managing top talent. With a career built on repeat recognition for performance, million-dollar billings, and a recognized top producer, he brings both deep technical staffing expertise and a genuine passion for growing people.
Outside of work, AJ is a husband and father of three, and you’ll usually find him by the pool or cheering on his kids at their sporting events. He’s also an avid golfer, a die-hard Spurs & Cowboys fan, and enjoys cooking in his spare time.
