Why we love difficult searches

“Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all.”

Dale Carnegie

A client’s success story

I am a very competitive person. That’s why I got so excited when I first spoke with David Godwin of Sneaky Games here in Austin. He told me about his challenges in working with large recruiting firms. He had worked with several firms “specializing” in the gaming industry. After months of working with these firms and having unsatisfactory results, David had decided to give us a shot.

What he didn’t know is that my favorite part of what I do is succeeding where others have failed. I love finding that perfect candidate who, supposedly, didn’t exist. Within one week, we had delivered 5 viable candidates to David. Not only that, he was able to fill that position in 2 weeks with one of our candidates!

Each and every one of us has parts of our jobs that ignite our passion for what we do. For me, my passion comes out when I am faced with a challenge. So, if you have that “can’t fill” position, let’s talk about it! We love difficult searches.
