Jennifer Wright is the founder of Becker Wright Consultants. Jennifer’s background in business began immediately upon graduation from Texas A&M University. Jennifer joined her first executive recruiting firm while completing her master’s degree in business from St. Thomas University. Several years later, Jennifer developed a successful business plan that would launch Becker Wright Consultants shortly after her move to Austin, Texas. Becker Wright Consultants has enjoyed a string of success in bringing qualified associates to some of the top companies in the US and has had a hand in hiring more than 500 associates nationwide and assisting more than 100 corporations, many of which are Fortune 500 companies. Jennifer resides in Austin, Texas, with her husband and three children.
Tommy is from San Antonio originally and graduated Texas A&M in College Station with a degree in Sports Management. Immediately upon graduating he started a career with Automatic Data Processing (ADP) in Houston before moving to Austin. With ADP Tommy spent time in sales and sales management and eventually moved into National Sales Operations supporting a business unit of over 2,000 sales associates before ending his tenure as a Divisional Vice President. The experience from outside sales and sales leadership to sales operations for a Fortune 500 company helped provide a vast array of experience that he brought with him to Becker Wright Consultants at the beginning of 2016. Aside from work Tommy is an avid hunter and enjoys spending time following his kids sporting endeavors alongside his wife, Jennifer.
Billy Wright has over 18 years of experience in the recruiting industry starting out as a recruiter before moving into a Sales Manager role. Billy was tasked with growing a division of the Austin, TX office where he led Business Development efforts, as well as the hiring and development of the internal staff of recruiters. Prior to joining our team, Billy spent the majority of his career with a nationwide recruiting firm, where he received numerous honors and awards, including Ambassador’s Club and President’s Club recognition. Billy was counted on as a Subject Matter Expert in his role with the company and was responsible for not only running a division of the local branch in Austin, but was responsible for mentoring and training sales reps and recruiters across various regions of the country. He joined Becker Wright Consultants in 2014 as our Managing Director. Billy is a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin. He continues to live in Austin with his wife and two children.
Diane joined BWC in 2014 and is a versatile professional with an IT industry background. The majority of her career prior to joining Becker Wright was with IBM where she worked as a Programmer Analyst, IT Auditor, and Project Manager. She holds Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and certified Project Management Professional (PMP) designations and is a Baylor University alum. In her prominent role with our company, Diane oversees our HR processes, operations, tools, and technologies. She currently lives in Austin, Texas, and has two children. When she isn’t working, Diane is spending time with her daughter and cheering on her son’s collegiate baseball career.
Jamie joined the team at Becker Wright Consultants in July of 2016 after earning an M.S. in Sport Management at Texas A&M University. She is responsible for maintaining our website and social media presence, assisting in business development efforts, organizing activities for our team, and being an overall point of contact for the company. During her time at Texas A&M, Jamie worked as Graduate Assistant for Intramural Sports, where she hired, trained, and managed 200 student officials and supervisors across various sports. Prior to moving to Texas, Jamie lived in Florida for ten years and attended the University of Central Florida for her undergraduate degree in marketing. In her free time, Jamie is always seeking out live music, spending time in the sun with family and friends, reading, and staying active with Austin’s many parks and trails. Born and raised in northern Virginia, Jamie is also a (sometimes reluctant) fan of all D.C. sports teams.
Jennifer started with Becker Wright Consultants in 2016 and brings 20 years of recruiting experience with her in areas such as talent acquisition, brand management, full-cycle recruiting, client development, salary negotiations, talent mapping, recruitment strategies, interviewing, relationship building, training, diversity recruitment, social media recruitment. With such a deep background Jennifer is a valued partner to both her clients and her candidates, making the perfect blend of a recruiter. Jennifer has focused in areas such as: engineering, IT, global supply chain, EHS, construction, HR, land acquisition and many more. She has a passion for recruiting, which is why she has stayed in the industry since graduating from Sam Houston State. She enjoys working with people and thrives on the challenge of finding the perfect candidate for her clients, no matter the difficulty. When Jennifer is not recruiting, she enjoys such things as cooking, DIY decorating, refinishing furniture and is a master at organizing and even does so for others.
Billy has been in the staffing and services industry for 25 years and joined BWC in April 2023. He started his career as a recruiter in 1999 with TEKsystems. Shortly after, he moved into sales where he was responsible for Fortune 50 national and international accounts. Since 2015, he has been scaling high-growth companies from start-ups to Fortune 500 as a co-founder with two Austin-based companies. He resides in Austin, Texas with his wife, Andrea, and their two kids Liam and Brady. You can catch him on the soccer fields watching or coaching soccer in his spare time!
Mark joined the team at Becker Wright Consultants in July 2019, specializing in developing our engineering and technology markets. He has nearly a decade of experience recruiting and staffing for various technology and engineering firms in the greater Austin area. Mark was born and raised in Austin and currently resides here with his wife and two daughters. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Economics. In his spare time, Mark enjoys spending time with his family, going to the beach, and golfing.
Danika Melia has 15 years of staffing and recruiting experience. She graduated from Trinity University in the spring of 1996 with a BS in Marketing. She spent 8 years in corporate recruiting at Dell, Inc. During her tenure at Dell, Danika had the opportunity to work across many different business units; recruiting for a variety of roles in Marketing, Sales, and Engineering. She joined forces with Becker Wright Consultants as a contract recruiter in 2004 and has enjoyed specializing in Retail Development. Danika resides in Lakeway with her husband and 3 children.
Meghan Blankenship has partnered with Becker Wright Consultants as an executive recruiter focusing on multi-industry staffing including Retail Development and Construction. Prior to this, Meghan spent eight years at Dell Computer Corporation in Sales and Sales Management in the Healthcare Division. She was responsible for staffing and managing both account executives and sales managers. Having worked on the clients’, side she brings a unique perspective to her recruiting, which allows her to deliver timely, qualified candidates consistently. She graduated with a BS in advertising from the University of Texas at Austin, and resides in Lakeway, Texas, with her husband and three children.
Missy Peterson has contracted with Becker Wright Consultants since 2006 where she specializes in the placement of business intelligence and information technology professionals. Prior to BWC, Missy worked in various areas of human resources for Holland America Line in Seattle, Wash., and Farm Credit Bank of Texas in Austin. Missy graduated with a BBA from Baylor University and resides in Lakeway, Texas, with her husband and two boys.
Amy Tucker partnered with the Becker Wright Consultants team in 2011 with a specialty in the telecommunications industry. Prior to BWC, Amy managed a team of account managers and formerly served as a carrier account manager at Broadwing Communications. Amy also has a strong background in executive customer service where she represented the CEO’s office for both Sprint PCS and American Airlines, handling a variety of legal and regulatory issues. Amy earned her undergraduate degree at Baylor University and has a master’s of business administration from the University of Dallas. She lives in Austin, Texas, with her husband and two children.
Alyce Hood joins the Becker Wright Consultants team as an executive recruiter specializing in different industries from accounting, finance, construction, real estate to sales. She also spent 3 years at Dell Computer Corporation as a corporate recruiter responsible for staffing sales, university relations program, marketing and received the bronze award for Dell’s sales hiring process, the on deck program. She graduated from the University of Alabama in December of 1996 with a BS degree in Business as well as an MBA in finance from University of St. Thomas at Houston in 1998. Alyce lives in Austin, Texas, with her husband and two children.
Lindsay joined the Becker Wright Consultants team in September 2019 as an executive recruiter and has an accounting degree from Texas State. She was born and raised in Texas, but recently spent five years in Florida for her husband’s work and is so grateful to be back home in The Great State. She now lives in Dripping Springs with her husband and four boys. She has big plans to visit the many wineries and distilleries in her new hometown as well as enjoy some small-town Texas football!
Susan joined the BWC Executive Recruiting Team in January 2022. She has over 25 years of sales, marketing, recruiting, management and training experience in various industries. Susan received a BS Degree in Business Administration from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in 1994. She spent 5 years in the body shop world where she actually learned to run a shop, as well as, becoming the Training and Customer Service Director over multiple locations where she recruited and trained people for various positions. She lives in Newcastle, Oklahoma with her husband and their two Schnauzers, Charlie and Colter. In her free time, Susan enjoys going on RZR trips to climb rocks, laying in the sun, being outdoors and spending time with those she loves.
Tim joined BWC in November 2022 after moving to Austin from California. He’ll be focusing on our direct placement roles supporting both our Executive Search team and Staffing team. He graduated from Westmont College in December 2021 with a BA in Communication Studies. While in college, he interned in various sales, marketing, social media related roles. Post-college, Tim has started his own personal development coaching business which is evolving to emphasize coaching for adults with ADD. He values church and family, as he is one of 10 siblings! In his free time, Tim likes to cook, bake, exercise, or travel with his fiancé and play board games with friends/family.
Jackson comes to BWC with more than 7 years of recruiting and staffing experience. Ending his 10 year military career in Georgetown, TX as a military recruiter, Jackson transitioned into commercial staffing in 2017. He specialized in placing military veterans into STEM roles, primarily in Aerospace and IT. In addition to recruiting, Jackson specialized in staffing proposals, fulfillment, and maintenance of large government contracts. Originally from San Antonio, Texas, he attended the University of Texas at Austin, graduating with honors obtaining a B.S. in Psychology. Jackson has lived in various places including Hawaii, California, and Afghanistan. Jackson enjoys spending time with his wife and children during his time off.
Pete comes to Becker Wright with an extensive background in recruiting. He previously worked in a recruiter role before being promoted to account manger working with Fortune 500 companies. Pete’s industry expertise is in manufacturing, skilled trade, commercial/industrial roles, and has also been charged with training up to 30 new recruiters. Prior to recruiting, Pete was in the Army for 22 years, the first 15 as an airborne infantryman, then the last 7 years as a recruiter. Once he retired, he taught Junior ROTC for two years before moving to Texas. He lives in the Greater Austin area with his dog, Kilo.
Alex became a part of the BWC Staffing Division in May 2021. She attended Valdosta State and then graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2019 with a degree in Marketing with a concentration in Digital Marketing. She joins our team with about two years of recruiting experience, staffing for administrative, customer service and accounting roles for Quest Financial in Atlanta. Before Alex’s time in Georgia, she lived in San Antonio and Dallas so she is very happy to be back in Texas. In her free time, she loves doing anything active outdoors – ready to take advantage of all the parks/lakes/trails in Austin!
Austin joined BWC in the Staffing Division in October 2021. Originally from California, he was born in the Bay Area but finished high school in the Central Valley. Austin graduated from Western Governors University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Healthcare Management. He comes from a background of about 2 years of sales experience, from starting his own solar cleaning company and doing door-to-door sales to working for Techtronic Industries (TTI) and conducting consultative sales. In his free time, Austin loves to fish and golf.
Emmanuel is a Recruiting Coordinator in the BWC Staffing Division and joined the team in October 2021. He grew up in Dallas with family roots in Nigeria. Emmanuel graduated from Rice University with a BS in Sport Management and played football at Rice, as well as Brigham Young University. After graduating, Emmanuel worked as a Field Sales and Marketing Representative at Techtronic Industries (TTI) for one and a half years. He’s eager to learn and grow in the recruiting industry and will be focused on our manufacturing, light technical, and engineering contract roles. In his free time, Emmanuel loves to weight lift and has been doing so for 12 years.
Lesley joined BWC in June 2022 after completing her undergraduate degree in Account Management and Communication at the University of Kentucky. Prior to recruiting, she worked for Accounting & Financial Women’s Alliance as a Membership Coordinator. Lesley’s role at BWC is within our Staffing Division, working to fill contract positions across a variety of industries from manufacturing to professional services. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Lesley enjoys spending time with her dog and trying out new restaurants.
